The Financial Fiasco in Washington is laughable. Just like the rest of the world, we duped ourselves into believing the thieves we elected into office were there to protect and defend the Constitution and serve the populace of their constituency to the best of their ability. We sat by like timid sheep and watched for more than 60 years since the end of World War II as our representatives taxed us into submission and spent more than the IRS collected by borrowing against future revenues. The expansion of of our Federal Government since WW II is mind boggling. There are currently over 1,300 Government Agencies across the three branches of the Federal government. We will soon have a Federal Watchdog Agency to protect American citizens against anything that it deems is not good for us. Yes, we will even be told what we can and cannot eat. Many programs that will go into effect will be directly tied to the Socialized Health Care system named after the Idiot currently occupying the White House. This administration will enact legislation that will tie a tax to anything the it considers dangerous to our health or offensive to current PC doctrines. Of course Congress will enact "special legislation" that will exempt themselves from having to conform to the laws of the "little people".
The cost in dollars for "free" health care provided by the Federal Government after the programs of ObamaCare go into effect in 2014 will initiate the eventual collapse of our economic system and the World Financial Markets. The debate over raising of the "Debt Ceiling" and the so-called calamity that will ensue if we fail to do that, is the biggest scam Washington has ever produced. What we need is to sober up and call for end to to Social Programs that give our money to those who don't deserve it, Close Government agencies whose only job is to waste taxpayer money and trim the excess waste our Washington legislators indulge themselves with.
I haven't heard any discussion about cutting Congressional payrolls, or rolling back salaries in the Senate as part of their "Shared Sacrifice", yet we hear that Soldiers won't get paid and Grandma won't get her Social Security check if the Debt Ceiling isn't raised! These criminals in charge are stealing our money faster than they can print it.
We have very little time left to fix the hole in the boat. The water is rising and eventually it will sink us. When that happens, be ready. Don't rely on anyone but yourself. Don't forget, Politicians are just people like you and me and they won't stick around to help you feed your family, they'll protect themselves first, just like they always have and leave you to pick up after them.
